Hale`s in Hermiston

I stopped with with my son for a late lunch. We parked in the back and I didn't know that the back was the entrance to the bar. The Bartender just sent us to the front as that is where the Restaurant is. Looks like there is a good selection of items on the menu and the service was friendly and prompt. We loved the food and were amazed with the portion of the crinkle cut fries! Would definitely come back to try different items.on the menu.

Had Halibut and clam strips. Was excellent.

It's a nice place but if you play video poker and win any amount at all. They write you check or tell you to come back later.

Our family was just treated to one of the best lunches I've ever eaten! Candice had a Prime Rib sandwich with the proper sides of horseradish and auju while I left it up to the chef, Jime. Out came a beautiful display of perfectly cooked top sirloin, crisp but done asparagus, mashers with cream sauce and expertly seasoned shrimp. The steak was accompanied with a brown sauce with garlic, small button mushrooms and something I couldn't pin point. My mouth is still watering! Sydnee's service was amazing and the restaurant manager/owner Kristen there to ensure that everything was just right.

Definitely a must try. The food is amazing i had the cheese burger and frys. The staff is great and knowledgeable and we will be back for date night

We we're here for lunch. They have a huge menu with lots of variety. Our group had the California burger, Hawaiian burger and the house Sandwich. The house Sandwich is HUGE but delicious. They are family friendly and had high chairs for our son. Only downside was no changing table in the bathroom. We recommend this staple and have been twice as we have driven through Hermiston the past two years.

Love this place! Great food for the price you pay and always feels you up. Kid friendly. Country style design on the inside. Steak is delicious!

Food was average- think it would have been better if it wouldn’t have been served 5 mins after I received my salad. By the time I was done food was cold. Didn’t receive our drinks until half of dinner was over. On the positive the waitress was very nice and apologetic, gave us a free cheesecake. We will try it again-Tried it again today and it was MUCH BETTER!!! Waitress was exceptional and very informative about the amazing art in restaurant. The “House Sandwich” is amazing and HUGE!!!

Okay, you got to check this place out. Rustic feel. Friendly vibe. Biker friendly! Had the 16 oz sirloin and eggs with French toast. I was so hungry I forgot to take a photo. Everything was cooked to perfection. If you got a few minutes and you're in Hermiston on Main Street, stop by Hales. BTW, The Bloody Mary was the perfect Sunday morning aperitif.

Usually the food and service here is amazing, but last night the noodles in my fettuccine were half cooked and the sauce was dry. My husband's ribs were cold and the cheese on his potato never even got close to melted, which means that the entire plate had sat out and got cold. Not cool!!

First time at Hale's and it was amazing! Came with my daughter and nephew. I had the chicken fried steak dinner with fries and the clam chowder. The cfs was huge and tender..no need for a knife! My daughter had a salad that was a very large portion and a side of fries(she's pregnant lol) the side of fries was insane large 😁 My nephew had the gut buster! The amount of food for the cost of this was phenomenal 👌 Already planning our next trip with the rest of the family!

The servings are HUGE! I gave it 4 stars simply because I would like to see more vegetarian options and better descriptions on the menu. I asked for my pasta without parmesan (the only dairy listed on the menu) but it came with shredded cheddar as did the salad. You need to know that their "basket" meals must use a bushel basket (almost) for the fries.

Nice traditional bar/ family feel. Missing some menu items (but they are probably just reopening) Ordered Filet mignon rare-med rare and it was charred more like med-well. My plate also had a baked potato, piece of lettuce with onion slices raw and fried onions(like the caserole ones). Bearnaise sauce wasn't bad but when i asked if everyone received a mix of pickled and fresh steamed asparagus together the waitress said it depended on the season that usually during the winter they use pickled sometimes (yuck) but never in the summer. It's June. My plate was in the $25 range. Can't remember the exact amount. Definitely overpriced for what i got. Drinks were decent, good price. And the place was very clean and cozy. On a positive note the razor clam soup with bread was really good. The wait staff was very friendly also.

The best Prime Rib I've ever had in my life! My husband had the Halibut and fries, which he loved! Carrie our server was awesome! We are away from home for Christmas and this was the perfect Holiday dinner! My husband had a beer and my drink was a seven and seven. Both meals came with a great fresh salad and the portions were huge. I was only able to eat maybe 25% of my 20 ounce prime rib which seemed larger than that but every bite was succulent and melted in your mouth!

Great food, and even better portions! You meal is served on a platter, not a plate. I've never seen anyone go home without a box, and the prices are very reasonable. Quick service, friendly staff, and lots of parking in the back.

Quick service, good food, ample servings. You will not go hungry here. We brought in 9 adults and 3 kids to eat and were taken care of by awesome servers. Never an empty glass or coffee cup. We just visited but will definitely come back when we are in town.

Down home country feel. Friendly people. Large portions of delicious food!

Very good prime rib jus needed to cook a lil longer

I quite enjoyed coming here, but if you are bringing kids make sure there is room to eat outside as they aren't serving children inside until they fully reopen. The waitresses were very kind and helpful. The food was amazing, but very large as well. I would definitely come here again.

The food was wonderful and very large portions at a great price. The staff was friendly. When we went the place was packed and they still got our food out hot and fast.

Was good. Could have kicked myself for not ordering the special! Generous portions, great waitstaff. Would definitely eat there again when traveling through the area.

The Cajun Chicken Alfredo was so good!!! Sauce is very buttery but other than that, one of the best dishes there honestly! Waitresses were so nice even when it was busy!

We go there at least once a month, there’s always something good to eat, great service, family friendly atmosphere, love their beer batter fries and steak, etc.

Food was good. Very loud and obnoxious drunk people as there is no wall or divider separating bar from restaurant. We went in, chose a table near the front (away from the loud bar), sat at one of the few empty tables (each one was dirty). Waitress with long blonde hair & extremely short dress was too busy flirting with some guy by the front door to even acknowledge us. We sat at the dirty table for at least 5 minutes, never once did she even acknowledge us. We moved towards the back (between the kitchen & bar). We were immediately greeted by another waitress with shorter blond hair (she was very attentive, give her a raise!). Our over all experience was not a good one. When the first waitress we encountered decided to start working, she was very curt and rude.

This was recommended by relatives who are locals. I had the top sirloin. The size of cut was awesome for the price. The mashed potatoes were delicious. The chicken noodle soup was unlike any I have ever eaten. It tasted wonderful. Every one near here should make Hale's a regular.

Food was good but the service was terrible. I sat at the Bar and didn't even get something to drink for 10 min or more. The bar tender just ignored me pretty much. I never did get a refill. You would think a bar tender would want to sell you a beer. I was there well over an hour. Single guy at the bar with a burger and a beer... tough order. Tasted good but service was terrible.

We like going here for a steak dinner, we have had great food and service every time we have eaten here.

Extremely accommodating with the take out and eat on the patio service in this time of limited covid dining options. Very KETO friendly menu options. Huge portions for a great price!

I always get the Eggs Benedict. The fruit isn't the best. But service is always great!

My favorite restaurant in town. Never had a bad experience until lately. Waited about 15 minutes to get waited, waited over 40 minutes and ended up canceling the order due to the wait. Went to tacos y mas across from 7/11 and got tacos and a burrito in less then ten minutes and it was bomb. Mind you the restaurant was packed as well. Mind blown.

Extremely awful, my food was undercook and did nothing about it. Also the customer services is rude and slow at what they do.
